Ben Rutledge is having a terrible day. He went out for a few drinks, and now he's being held hostage by two maybe-psychopaths who won't tell him why they've taken him. Confused, alone, and afraid, Ben must confront not only his captors, but also his own place in the universe. INEVITABLE is a neo-noir thriller, a dizzying kidnapping, and a contemplation of chaos and order wrapped up in one, then blindfolded, gagged, and tied to a chair.
